Coach’s Corner Rewind: February 2, 2013

Last night at Air Canada Centre, the Toronto Maple Leafs celebrated the historic 60th season of Hockey Night in Canada during their game against the Boston Bruins. After all, the Bruins and the Leafs was the first game televised back on November 1, 1952. Ron MacLean and Don Cherry did the ceremonial puck drop alongside Leafs legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Doug Gilmour, who donned the vintage Hockey Night baby blue blazer that was synonymous with the show during the ’70s and ’80s. Even though the game was tight, it was a quick drive from the ACC back to Studio 42 at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre to do this week’s edition of  Coach’s Corner.
